About
Professor and Chair of Library and Information Science at Uppsala university.
I earned my PhD in Information Studies in 1998 from the University of Tampere, and was nominated as a docent information science in 2003. My long-time research interests include the philosophy and theories of information and information technology, and digital shaping of scholarly communication and collaboration practices. My work draws from science and technology studies, sociocultural, and practice theories.
Earlier, I have worked as a visiting professor at the University of Borås.
