About
Dr. Mattias Lundberg (b. 1976) is a musicologist specializing in compositional practices, music theory and methodology in the sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth centuries, alongside studies in Lutheran liturgical music, music philology and historical collections of music and music literature.
He is Secretary of the Swedish Society for Musicology, Review editor of the Swedish Journal of Musicology, and Head of the Swedish working group of Répertoire international des sources musicales. He is also active on a number of editorial and scholarly board commissions, e.g. at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music and the Swedish National Collections of Music.
